Hi I'm having trouble, because my Dad, god bless him was born in
Horodiatyczi which is now I'm pretty sure, Radoszyce in Poland, but
was in the Ukraine, I think, also when he was somewhere around 1 to 3
his family moved to a farm about 20k's north of Lvov. Now I'm trying
to trace his family history and I'm in trouble, can anyone help? I've
found Radoszyce and a description of where it is, but I cant find an
overview map, to see if it's near the now Ukrainian border or not. I
know it's near the Carpathian moutnains, but boy do I need help.
Anything you can suggest would be wonderful. Kind Regards, Kettle.

Use Multimap http://www.multimap.com/ to look up Radoszyce in Poland. It
looks to be about 400 km (240 miles) from the Ukraine border, and another
100 km (60 miles) from Lvov in Ukraine.

Good luck on your search.

Four villages name Radszyce are in Poland today. No one was in
Ukrainian. The nearest of Ukrainian border is :
http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radoszyce_(wojew%C3%B3dztwo_podkarpackie)

Horodiatyczi ( Gorodiatichi) - Malye i Bolschie (Small and Big) are
the little villages in Belarus near the Minsk.

Sorry, but link in my previous post is invalid. You can find
information about the village by Google "Radoszyce" (wojewodztwo
podkarpackie).
