I have been researching my ancestor Alfred Radzik. I have found some
documents that tell me he is from Grybow Poland. I have found that
Alfred had a sister and a brother.

Alfred Radzik married Angeline Buczek and lived in Chicago Illinois.
Hie children Alfred jr, Louise and Dorothy all stayed in the Chicago
area.

Alfred's sister's married name was Olimpia Stezowski. She was married
to Adam Stezowski. They had a daughter Francis, maybe more children
but I don't know. The family lived in Chicago in 1910 but I found
that Olimpia died away in Michigan. There may be some family there
now.

Alfred's brother's name was Apolinary Radzik, who appears to have
moved about the country from Chicago Illinois where he stayed with his
sister, to Michigan where he was when he registered for the WWI draft,
to New York where he was married to Regina and had 3 kids; Eustachy,
Alfreda, and Delores.

I have exhausted my family connections. No one knows much of
anything. I think the ones who would have known have long since
passed. I have looked into the LDS microfilms and when I put in
Grybow Poland in the key word search, a whole slew of films come up.
I have no idea where to start! I was hoping that some of my great
grandfather's siblings may have descendants who have some information.

If you have any Radzik family from Grybow and have looked into the LDS
microfilms, plese let me know which film it was. Then maybe I can
start there.

Thanks for any help.

US phone directory at http://www.us-info.com/usa/ has about 238 Radzik
listings. There are only 8 in Michigan. One is an Alfred. You might
contact some of them for info. Or, you might also look at other towns where
there might be relatives.

There are only 8 listings of Stezowski in the whole US directory, so you
might contact some of them for info.

Looks like there are at least 10 Radzik listings in Grybow in the Poland
phone directory on the Internet at
http://www.ksiazka-telefoniczna.com/index.php?language=en&PHPSESSID=75c925d2aa1da8313ec8834caef422e9
Looks like there might be more pages, but, I have not figured out how to get
to them.

Grybow is in Malopolskie vovoidship or state (Województwo). I checked some
other nearby towns (Miasto) for Radzik.surname (Nazwisko). Words in
parenthesis are Polish words for the word in front of the parenthesis. Will
help you in using the phone directory. Be sure and copy all of the URL for
the directory, or maybe just click on it if it is all hilighted, and go
right to the directory.

Nowy Sacz - 8 listings
Nowy Targ - No listings
Gorlice - 10 listings
Jaslo - No listings
Krosno - No listings
Tarnow - 10 listings

Maybe some cousins to write for information?

Good luck.
