Doing research on a maternal line in Yugoslavia. I have located a
Registration card in the US National Archives for Tale Alecxih, born 18 Aug
1891. The registration card is difficult to read, but the place of birth
appears to be Stelip, Macedonia, Serbia.
Unfortunately, I cannot find Stelip on any maps, so either it is a very
small village, it no longer exists, or the spelling is different. I very
much need to identify "Stelip" and determine where to look for the birth,
marriage & death records for this area.
Appreciate any help on this.
